Characters : Chapters 6-11

                                                                         The Owl
"In the day time ,when the sun is out,the owl goes deep into the hollow and sleeps." (pg.43) The owl is very wise and all the crows go to him for advice.

Setting

Where does Mrs.Frisby and her family of field mice live in Robert C. O'Brien's book Mrs.Frisby and he rats of Nimh? You guessed it ... they "lived in an underground house in a vegetable garden of a farmer named Mr.Fitzgibbion" (pg.3) Where they struggle to stay alive.

Characters: 1-5

                                              Mrs. Frisby
  Mrs. Frisby "... the head of the family of field mice.." (pg.3) is the main character in the book Mrs. Frisby and the rats of Nimh.  Mrs. Frisby is very worry some "... she worried about Timothy..'' and lots of other day to day problems.  "Mrs. Frisby was able, though luck and hard to work, to keep her family happy and well fed."  She was a very supporting mother to her 4 children.

  Timothy                                                    
 Timothy was one of Mrs. Frisby's sons.  Timothy had gotten sick very often,  he was a "hypochonaac" (pg.10)

Teresa 
   Teresa was the "oldest" of Mrs. Frisby's children. (pg.7)


                                                             Martin
  Martin was " a strong quick mouse, dark haired and 9 ( very) handsome." (pg.70)

Cynthia
Cynthia was the youngest of the children.  The other children would “sometimes get laughed at or grew impatient with her when she was forever losing things.” (pg.21)


Dragon the Cat 
Dragon the cat “ was enormous, with (a) huge broad head, and a large mouth full or curving fangs, needle sharp.”(pg.21)


Mr.Ages
Mrs ages was “very old and very wise;yet he walked nimbly enough.”(pg. 16)

Jeremy the Crow
Jeremy the Crow was “...very young indeed- in-fact only a year old  ( got caught in a fence) because it was shiny he said.”(pg. 23)

Farmer Fitzgibbon
 Framer Fitzgibbions has “ backed out”(pg.34) his tracker as he is the farmer of the land that Mrs.Frisby lived on.

Paul Fitzgibbon
Paul Farmer Fitzgibbions older son was “hard working [boy] rather clumsy in his movements but string and careful about his chores.” (pg.34)

Billy Fitzgibbions
Billy, Framer Fitzgibbions younger son “had annoying habits of skimming rocks across at anything that moved.” (pg.34)
